Director of NUS BSL-3 Core Facilities A/Prof Thomas Dick, who is also leads SPRINT-TB's Theme 1, and programme lead Prof. Nick Paton were interviewed by Singapore media regarding the recent launch of the BSL-3 lab at National University of Singapore (NUS). The facilities feature 650 sq m area with a TB research laboratory, which is licensed for usage of various mycobacterial strains and animal models. The facility is used for multiple SPRINT-TB projects that require handling of M. tuberculosis strains.
